USHJA Outreach Show
Valley Park Stables hosts both USHJA Rated Outreach shows and locally sponsored "D" Series Schooling shows at its beautiful facility in Des Moines. Each of the three, large outdoor arenas have all weather sand footing that makes horse showing safe and fun in Iowa's changing weather conditions. The two indoor arenas provide a place to take lessons and compete in small, in-house shows during the winter and provide temporary stabling for competitors for the larger shows in the summer. Horses and riders from all over the Midwest are invited to visit Valley Park during July for our Outreach show. 'D' Series and Schooling Shows
Valley Park also hosts and attends the local "D" Series schooling show series throughout the summer months. The "D" Series schedules horse shows from April through October throughout the Des Moines metropolitan area. This year Valley Park will be hosting ALL of the "D" Series shows! These shows allow green horses and riders a place to begin horse showing and allows the seasoned horse showers a place to sharpen their skills.
